Location
Our location is truly unique. A very large outdoor space filled with trees, shrubs, garden space and open yard provides many opportunities for outdoor learning, and the bright, home-like indoor environment is welcoming and peaceful.
We are located in the heart of Beaumont, close to Ecole Bellevue School and the ABCU Credit Union.
Staff
Miss Kim is owner, teacher and directress at Little Saplings Montessori. Kim was trained in Vancouver, BC at the North American
Montessori Training Center. She also has a diploma in Early Childhood Education from BC and has taught the Montessori method for over 20 years. She has a passion for teaching young children and sees great value in the Montessori Approach. She is excited to bring Montessori Education to Beaumont and has plans to further her education in Montessori for elementary years.
Kim Cheladyn

Miss Ali was born and raised in Beaumont and is now raising her family here. She is married with 3 amazing kids, her son Kaleb and twin girls Katelyn and Evelyn. After high school Miss Ali went to Grant MacEwan to pursue a diploma in Early Childhood Development. She has her Level 3 certificate and has had her own dayhome for 8 years. She loves working with preschool aged children and has been with us at Little Saplings Montessori since 2021. In her free time she enjoys games, reading and going for walks. Her favorite family activity is anything baseball related.
Alison Janzen
Teacher in the Cedar, Birch, Poplar and Spruce classes
Miss Bonnie has had the pleasure of living in Beaumont for many years. She is married and has 3 boys who keep her busy with their love for hockey. She enjoys watching them play and being at the rink in her free time!
She graduated from Grant McEwan in 2003 with a Level 3 Early Childhood Diploma. She ran her own dayhome and loved being home with her boys. She loves working with preschool aged children and has been with us at Little Saplings since 2021.
Bonnie Snowden
Teacher in the Oak, Juniper, Pine and Aspen Classes
Miss Monica has lived in Beaumont for 8 years with her two daughters and Husband. She is currently a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator and plans on pursuing more Montessori education in the future. You may have seen her around town as she is busy with her two girls who are involved in figure skating and gymnastics. Her daughters both attended Little Saplings Montessori and she saw first hand the benefits of the Montessori philosophy.
Monica Mackenzie-
Assistant in the Aspen, Juniper, Birch and Spruce classes
Miss Payton was raised in Beaumont and has been very involved in the community since her teenage years. She is currently a Level 1 Early Childhood Educator and is attending Concordia University with plans to pursue a Bachelors of Education. She has been working at Little Saplings Montessori since 2023.
